We hope that your summer has been as great as ours. We were fortunate enough to miss the record high temps here in COS last week - and we're hoping that August will cool down - at least for the concert here on the 12th! If not... does anyone out there know where we can get a portable air conditioner?!
Speaking of the heat - you really DON'T want to miss Natalia Zukermann here at the house on Friday August 12th. Now this is the night before the big TESSA fund raiser - so you have to figure that Natalia really has to be someone special for us to take on her concert.
Indie-Music.com had this to say about Natalia's latest release: "Zukerman has one of those rare voices that seduces you on first purr. Blend Sheryl Crow and Natalie Merchant, and throw in the twang spark of fellow NYC indie artist Amy Speace, and you’ve got that voice. Zukerman can vocally float high and ethereal, as in “Wandering Souls,” and she can drawl and croon an Old West folk ballad, as in “Little Heart,” a song in which you can see the dust rising around every bootstep." You can read the full article here.
The best place to listen to her music is on CD Baby. Everyone we've run in to that's heard her, raves about Natalia's performances. Please come out for this one - it's one of those artists that you're going to be happy to say "we knew her back when..."
